Wapakoneta used a big second quarter to roll past Kenton 64-29 in Division II boys basketball sectional tournament play at Findlay.

The Wildcats end their season with a 14-9 record.
The game was tied at 11-apiece after Kenton’s Jayden Cornell hit a three-pointer at the first-quarter horn, but the Redskins dominated the rest of the game. Wapakoneta outscored Kenton 31-2 in the second period to grab a commanding 42-13 halftime edge, and the Cats could not make a significant dent into the Redskins’ advantage over the final two quarters.
