Wildcats Open Playoffs With 32-20 Win Over Ontario

The Kenton Wildcats opened Division IV, Region 14 playoff action with a 32-20 win over Ontario Saturday at Robinson Field.
The Wildcats improve to 4-3 and will meet Bellevue next week in regional quarterfinal play. Ontario has its five-game winning streak snapped and is now 5-3.
Blaine Huston threw four touchdown passes for Kenton, connecting twice each with Jayden Cornell and Jacob Eversole. Eversole also rushed for a score.
Zac Swaney, Bert Grubbs & Trevor Robinson each intercepted passes for Kenton, while Gunnar Stout recovered a fumble which was forced by Cam Pulfer.
Eversole was named the Ace Hardware Player of the Game.
