Lady Wildcats Roll Past USV 74-35

All ten players scored for Kenton as the Lady Wildcats rolled past Upper Scioto Valley 74-35 in girls basketball play Saturday afternoon.

Kenton ended the first half on a 22-0 run, forcing 11 consecutive USV turnovers, and led 42-19 at the break. The Lady Wildcats were never threatened in the second half as they improve to 5-6.

Upper Scioto Valley (0-13) was led by Haylie Martin, who scored 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.

Four Lady Wildcats scored in double figures, led by Jenna Manns’ 14 points. Lindsey Smith added 13 points and nine rebounds while Kaylin Hildreth finished with 11 points and Sidney Plott tallied 10 points and nine rebounds.

Mary Heilman had seven points and 10 rebounds for Kenton and was named the Ace Hardware Player of the Game.
