Trey Jefferies led kenton with a 43, followed by Carson James with a 47 Lucas hites 53 and Ethan Wirbel with a 54.

Coach Drew Hobensack said, “For our first match we did some things that I liked and did something’s we need to improve on. Carson and trey played the first 3 holes at even par so we got out to a fast start. Course conditions were real tough today. And that’s evident by Brett shooting a 41. He is usually around par or under par for that matter. It’s also the first varsity experience for 3 of our guys so I know the nerves were there as well.”

It was heartbreaking to loose by a single shot but that shows how vital each and every shot is. I really like the team we have this year and I see us improving as the year progresses.”
