A celebration of life for Lois Ansley will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lois died on Monday, December 26, 2022 at the Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on August 5, 1938 in Kenton to the late George and Mary Elizabeth (Tow) Elsasser. She married her husband of 63 years, John Ansley and he survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are 2 sons; Roger (Elizabeth) Ansley of Westerville, Jeff (Nicole) Ansley of Marysville, a brother; Tom (Kathy) Elsasser of Ada, 4 grandchildren; Vanessa (Nathan) Golden, Reston (Carolyn) Ansley, Spencer (Alicia) Ansley, Kaleigh Ansley, 4 great-grandchildren with one on the way; Ameila, Molly, Tommy, Emmy and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister; Barbara Wolf, and a grandson; Garrette Ansley. 

Lois was a 1956 Mt. Victory High School graduate. She went on to get her cosmetology certificate and license.

She was a member of the Kenton YMCA.

In her free time, Lois enjoyed playing golf and in her younger years, playing wiffle ball and baseball with her boys in the backyard. Lois also always enjoyed going to the Hardin County Fair and meeting up with her friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Parkinson’s Foundation.
