Icy Roads Leads to Crash in Wyandot County Over the Weekend

A New Riegel woman escaped serious injury after a crash in Wyandot County late this past Saturday morning.
According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, 36 year old Ashley Dodge was southbound on County Highway 107 when her vehicle slid through a stop sign at the intersection at State Highway 5 and her car was struck by a westbound semi being operated by 67 year old Michael Metzger, also of New Riegel.
Disabling damage occurred to the car, and Dodge was treated at the scene by Sycamore EMS.
Metzger was not injured.
Dodge was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.
