The Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to online rumors being circulated regarding a bone that was recovered yesterday near the Village of Caledonia.   According to a release, after an inspection it was determined that the bone was not human in origin. The inspection was conducted by a Forensic Anthropologist from the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.

Ellie Curlis of Hardin Hi-Lighters 4-H Club won the Ohio Achievement Award for Food and Nutrition.  She is the top 4-H member in the state for food projects. As an achievement award winner, Curlis will Represent Ohio at the National 4-H Congress this fall.
