Kenton Lions Topic of Public Eye this Weekend

Written by on March 11, 2022

The Kenton Lions Club will present Lions Roar “Still Alive at 75” next weekend.

The show will be on Saturday March 19 and Sunday March 20 at the Kenton Middle School Auditorium.

The show is a major fundraiser for the show.

Long-time member Dave Sturgeon, who is the longest serving member, talks about why he got involved and remains active with the Lions, “I think part of it was because we took care of people. If  somebody came and needed help, if they needed eyeglasses or if they needed eye surgery, we were there for them and we met the need.”

For the complete discussion with Sturgeon, along with Lion Bill Keller, tune in Public Eye Saturday morning at 7:30 and Sunday at noon on WKTN.
