Upper Sandusky Church to Operate as Cooling Station
Written by WKTN Staff on July 17, 2019
At least one of the churches in Upper Sandusky will be opening its doors to the public this weekend for those who need a place to escape the heat.
The John Stewart United Methodist Church at the corner of 7th and Johnson Street in Upper Sandusky will open its doors Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning at 10am and will be open until at least 7 in the evening.
Those without air conditioning are encouraged to use the air conditioned building as a cooling station and stay safe during the heatwave.
Water will be provided, but people should bring their own snacks.
