Two HN 5th Grade Win DARE Essay Contest

Hardin Northern’s Presley Terhark and Benji Navarro were the 5th grade winners of that school’s DARE Essay contest. 

The two put a great amount of time and effort into their essays. 

They both described what the DARE program was and how they would use it moving forward in their lives. 

The 5th grade will be celebrating the completion of the program with a bowling party in February. 

The DARE program was taught by Hardin Northern’s School Resource Officer Deputy Joseph.
