KMS Principal Threatened; Incident is Under Investigation

An incident involving the threat of an administrator at the Kenton Middle School Wednesday night is under investigation.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were notified that a juvenile threatened to shoot the middle school principal.
No other information is being released at this time.
The incident is under investigation.
The following was sent to parents through the school’s ParentSquare this morning:
Kenton Middle School has been made aware of a possible threat to a KMS administrator.
The Kenton Police Department did an excellent job of following up and investigating late into the night to ensure that the situation was handled.
KMS takes threats and the safety of our students and staff very seriously.
This is an excellent opportunity to remind students and families that if they see something suspicious or questionable, they should report it immediately to keep our school community safe.
