Ridgemont Board Releases Highlights of November Meeting

The regular November Board of Education was held early this month. The first grading period has ended, parent/teacher conferences have started and will conclude by the Thanksgiving break. Never hesitate to contact a teacher or a staff member if you have any concerns about your child’s education.
Congratulations to the Ridgemont FFA Chapter for being named the #1 Chapter in Model of Innovation in Strengthening Agriculture, we will be recognizing the chapter at the December 15th Board meeting.
An Open House will be held for the public to see the upgrades to the Ridgemont Weight Room on November 10th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Ridgeway Building.
Company R will be presenting their EXTRAVAGANZA this weekend, November 11th and 12th in the Ridgeway Gym, doors open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7:00 pm.
We are looking forward to hosting the Senior Citizen Luncheon on December 8th at Noon in the Mt. Victory Commons. Call Sandy by November 30th with your RSVP so we know how many guests will be attending.
I would like to invite parents and the community to read the reports on the agenda in BoardDocs (link is below) under C. REPORTS AND CORRESPONDENCE, our principals and supervisors are working hard every day and this is just a small percentage of what they are doing in the district for our students.
The Ridgemont board reports and motions are now all on BoardDocs for the public to see. Tonight all motions passed unanimously.
