Police Issue More Nuisance Notices; 7 Facing Underage Consumption Citations

The Kenton Police Department followed up serving notices on Wednesday with several more on Thursday.
Officers served 6 notices around the city on Thursday.
The notices were for property owners to cut down high grass and weeds as well as removing junk and/or trash from the properties.
A total of 13 notices were served on residents on Wednesday.

Seven people ranging in age from 14 to 20 are facing charges following an incident Thursday night.
According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were dispatched to the 900 block of South Wayne Street in reference to a party with the smell of marijuana.
Seven individuals, including one 14 year male, one 17 year old female, three 18 year old females, an 18 year old male and a 20 year old male are facing citations for offenses involving underage persons consuming intoxicating liquor.
