There will be no services for Marilyn F. Oborn at this time. There will be a memorial service held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Marilyn passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Hardin Hills Health Center in Kenton. She was born on April 2, 1930 in Kenton to the late Harvey and Sarah Jane (McQuown) Blue. She married Weston Oborn and he preceded her in death August 6, 2001.

Surviving are 2 daughters; Melenee (John) Johnson of Kenton, Jane (Jeff) Derringer of Kenton, 1 son; Robert M (Laura) Kerns of Bellefontaine, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 5 brothers; Russell Lauren Blue, George Blue, John Blue, Marion Blue and Luellen Ray Blue.

Marilyn was a Kenton High School graduate and worked as a Nursing Assistant for many years.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kenton as well as the Kenton Moose.

In her free time, Marilyn enjoyed fishing and traveling with her husband while he was driving truck. She was also an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan who rarely missed watching a game.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marilyn’s honor may be made to the Hardin County Humane Society.
