A funeral service for Jolene Draper will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Gregg King officiating. Burial will follow at Dunkirk Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home. 

Jolene passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Monroe Promedica Regional Hospital in Monroe, Michigan. She was born on September 25, 1981 in Kenton to Frank and Rose (Weaver) Draper who both survive in rural Forest. 

Also surviving are her children; Cammy Van-Alst, Caleb Roby, Michael Schroeder, 2 sisters; Cynthia (Norman) Nelson, Rose Zella (Craig) Taylor, a brother; Clifton (Jean) Draper, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as her Fiance; Branden Bischoff. 

She was preceded in death by a brother; Joel Draper.

In her younger years, Jolene attended the Marsielles United Methodist Church and participated in a 4-H horse club where she loved to ride horses.

She was currently employed with CleanTech in Dundee, Michigan. In her free time, Jolene enjoyed crocheting, gardening, drinking coffee and loving on her pet rabbit and cats. She was also an avid Michigan Wolverine Fan.  

Memorial donations in Jolene’s honor may be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of the donor’s choice.
