of Kenton
A memorial service for Donneta “Donny” (Elliott) Middleton will be held at 12:00 P.M. Noon on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Kenton with Pastor Tomas Pistoria officiating. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to services at the church. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with services.
Donneta passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Society in Arlington. She was born on December 14, 1937 in Lebanon, Oregon to the late Jack and LaDonna (Snyder) Elliott. On November 25, 1960 she married Rev. Ralph Middleton and he survives.
Also surviving are 2 children; Kerin Krohn of Indianapolis, Shawn (Kim) Middleton of Kenton, a sister; Diane (Rodney) Gilbert of West Linn, Oregon, a brother; Bob (Chris) Elliott of Bend, Oregon, 4 grandchildren; Trey (Samantha) Middleton of Kenton, Jordan (Danny) Wagner of Corydon, Indiana, Alexandra (Donnie Waters) Holder of Indianapolis, Regan (Logan) Guenther of Ridgeway, 6 great-grandchildren; Brailyn, Landon, Landry, Josie, Charlotte, Bennett with one on the way, and several nieces and nephews.
Donny graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Christian Education from Lewis and Clark College. She worked various jobs as a medical administrator and nurses aide in several of the local nursing homes and doctors offices.
Donny was a member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Kenton. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing in the church choir. In her free time she also enjoyed reading, taking care of her flowers, and collecting all kinds of different knick-knacks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Kenton.
