Obituary for Bryan R. Borkosky

Bryan R. Borkosky age 77 of Upper Sandusky, died at his residence on Oct. 5, 2022. He was born in Findlay on Aug. 16, 1945 to the late Thomas G. and Ethel M. (Bushong) Borkosky. On Oct. 14, 1989 he married Christine Vehrs and they shared 33 years of marriage. Bryan and Chris loved raising a family and making a home together.

Surviving are sons Keith (Elizabeth) Vehrs and Ryan (Ashley) Vehrs, both of Upper Sandusky, a daughter Chelsea (Adam) Lamberjack, Dublin, grandchildren Brittney Castle, Candace Plott, Andrew Plott, Daniel Plott, Hunter Mihailoff, Stephanie Wilson, Paige Vehrs, Madison Vehrs, Parker Lamberjack, Nash Lamberjack and Kyler Lamberjack, sisters Carol Gillett of Eugene, OR and Mareeta (Ebby) Brewer of Lancaster. He is preceded in death by daughters Cynthia Nichols, Christina Wilson, a grandson Knox Vehrs and a sister Janet LaValle.

Bryan was a 1963 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and a graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in Animal Science. He was a member of Marseilles United Methodist Church.

Bryan was a life long grain and livestock farmer and retired form Guardian Industry. He was member of the Peace Corp. He enjoyed raising livestock with his passion being hogs. Bryan had a big heart and loved taking the grand kids on mule rides, as well as playing cards. He treasured his children and grandchildren and their time spent together especially in the barn. He was an avid Buckeye fan. Bryan valued hard work, loyalty and dependability.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022 from 1:00PM-3:00PM at the Bringman Clark Funeral Home.
A private burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Knox Vehrs Livestock Grant or American Heart Asso.
