Kenton Fire Department Hosts Training Exercise

Members of the Kenton Fire Department, South East Hardin North West Union Joint Fire District and Northwestern Fire District completed a hazardous materials technician course.
The training took place over the past several days, and provided fire department personnel with the skill set to respond to and mitigate small or large scale chemical releases.
The class was hosted at the Kenton Fire Department and training was provided by the University of Findlay.
The training was made possible with grant funding secured by the Kenton Fire Department.
