HN Agriculture Mechanics Look Under the Hood of Vehicles

Written by on December 7, 2022

Students in the Hardin Northern Agriculture Mechanics class recently learned about things under the hood of their vehicle.

For some students this was a review, and for others it was new information.

The students were taught how to check their oil, locate their battery, jump a car, and where to locate the proper place to add windshield wiper fluid.

Tire tread and how to determine the correct PSI for tires were also covered.

To put the students’ knowledge to the test, they each had a checklist of things to perform on their own car – checking oil and tire pressure along with location of a few other important things.

Once they passed the test they were able to detail their cars with the help of classmates.
