High Wind Warning Expires at 10 Sunday Night

High winds blew through the area Sunday.
A high wind warning is in effect until 10 Sunday night.
During the day, sustained winds of 20 to 30 miles an hour was reported. There was an occasional higher gust of up to 65 miles an hour.
Scattered power outages occurred, at one time taking WKTN off the air when the electric went out at the transmitter site.
The village of Dunkirk lost electric around 10:15 Sunday morning. According to the AEP Ohio website, the estimated time to have service restored is 3:30 this afternoon.
Some tree limbs fell around the area as well, but no major damage was reported.
