Written by on March 22, 2022

The Hardin County Museum has been invited to participate in the Medal of Honor Day on Wednesday.

Museum Director Sheena Striker is traveling to Chattanooga, Tennessee for the event.

It will be held at the Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center.

Striker will talk about Jacob Parrott, the first recipient of the Medal of Honor, “We are taking the medal with us, and they are going to display our Medal of Honor for the next six months in their center, so we are very excited about being able to collaborate with them. While we’re there, they’ve asked me to do a talk about Jacob Parrott and his life here in Kenton, Ohio and Hardin County.”

Some of the events on Wednesday will be streamed live on the Heritage Center’s website: https://www.mohhc.org/

For the complete discussion with Striker, listen to the Public Eye under the Shows/Podcasts drop down box.
