Governor Urges Fair Operators to Conduct Safe Fairs

Written by on July 22, 2020

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine expressed concerns about the rising number of COVID-19 cases from fairs that have not been operating improperly.

He said some fairs allowed too many people in without face coverings, and the result has been a spread of the disease.

To avoid shutting down fairs, which he said the state does not want to do, fair operators must make sure proper precautions are being taken.

He said it’s important to make the right decisions in order for the fairs to be held.
