Fender-Bender Causes Power Outage

A minor crash on Wyandot County Highway Nine caused a power outage in Sycamore early Sunday morning.
Accounts from a witness to the crash state a pickup truck skidded off the road and struck a utility pole, which then caught fire as the driver left the scene and drove to his nearby residence.
The driver, identified as Michael Danner of Sycamore, was cited for failure to control.
