Edward L. Howe Jr, 77 of Kenton
Funeral services for Edward L. Howe Jr. will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at The Price – McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Brother Paul Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit from 4:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the funeral home.
He died on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Hardin Hill Health Center. He was born on November 26, 1941 in Kenton to the late Edward Sr and Irene (Carter) Howe. On March 27, 1964 he married Patricia A. Zachariah and she preceded him in death on April 21, 2010.
Surviving are his Significant other; Pam Vermillion of Kenton, 2 daughters; Beth (Kenny Miller) Howe of Ridgeway and Patti (Gary Douglas) Sanchez of Kenton. 1 son; Thomas (Thelma) Howe of Ostrander. 2 sisters; Nancy (Gary) Chamberlain of Marion and Peggy Kinikin of Byhalia. 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 4 brothers; Bill Howe, David Howe, Dick Howe and Tommy Howe. 1 sister; Margie Andrews.
Ed worked as a construction worker for various companies in the area.
He was attending the Faith Baptist Church in Kenton.
Ed enjoyed trapping in his younger years. He also like to travel and just drive around town seeing what was going on. Ed was also a “junk” collector and was always buying various things at yard sales and auctions.
