David Lee Harp, 72 of Kenton

Funeral Services for David Lee Harp will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at The Price – McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Terry Robinson officiating. Military Rites by Amvets Post 1994 will follow the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date. Friends and family may visit from 3:00PM till 8:00PM Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the funeral home.

He died on Friday, March 29, 2019 at his residence. He was born on April 21, 1946 in Kenton to the late William Lee and Ruth (Caldwell) Harp. On September 10 he and his wife Karen (Latham) celebrated 51 years of marriage. She survives in Kenton.

He is also survived by his children; Mathew and Lori Harp of Tiffin, Sarah and Gary Robinson of Mt. Victory and Amanda Harp of Kenton. David always said he did not get to enjoy his children growing up because he was to busy making a living but he was going to enjoy his grandchildren and that he did. The treasures of his life are Devin (Misty) Robinson, Logan Harp, Alexandrea Robinson, Austin Harp, Keeley Harp and Jaidyn Harp. His newest great grand treasures Kaiden Michael, Chancler Lee and Mallory. He is also survived by his sister; Diana Lowe and sister -in-laws; Kristi Harp of Forest and Paula Harp of Kenton, his uncle; Lowell Cahill formerly of Kenton. Special uncle; Harold Red Fillinger and two special grandsons Deric Cobb stationed with the US Army in Korea and Mavrick Harris of Bellefontaine who always called David Grandpa Cowboy.
