Charles C. Bayes age 88 of Forest, died at his residence on Saturday August 8, 2020. He was born on June 1, 1932 in Swamp Branch, KY to Samuel “Sam” and Edna (Collins) Bayes. Charles is survived by his sister Thelma Ruth Lester of Kentucky and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Sherman Bayes and Carl Bayes.
Charles graduate from high school and retired from Marion Power Shovel as a machinist. He enjoyed coon hunting, and loved the outdoors.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 11, 2020 at 11:00am at Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor James Robinette officiating. Burial will follow at Patterson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9am-11am on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Universal Hospice in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S. Patterson St. Forest, OH 45843.
