A new member of the Kenton Fire Department was introduced to the public over the weekend. Firefighter/EMT Ryan Boyd comes to the department from Waverly, Ohio. He brings 8 experience to the department. When not working, Boyd enjoys the outdoors, hunting, riding his motorcycle. He has been married to his wife Alex for two years.

The Eagles Lodge in Kenton made a big donation to Kenton Little League. The donation was in the amount of just over $22,000. The check was presented Thursday by Eagles Trustees Brandon Hamm and Gary Chamberlain, and was accepted by Kenton Little League representatives David Fields, Matt Jennings, Wes Baker and Sam Albert.
