Lake of Lights has announced its “People’s Choice” contest for the 2020 season. Photos of eight displays have been published on Lake of Lights’ Facebook page, and visitors are encouraged to “like” their favorite display. The winner of the contest will be announced after the Lake of Lights closes on December 26.

Millstream Career Center will conclude its two-night virtual open house tonight, with a session running from 5:30 to 7:45. Attrition for Mansfield Temple Christian’s high-school boys’ basketball team has forced the postponement of their game against Hardin Northern scheduled for tomorrow night. Tuesday marked 16 years since the Union County house fire which killed nine-year-old William “BJ” Channell and eight-year-old Brett Channell.
