Written by on April 1, 2019

The lockdown at Arlington School was lifted this morning as of around 11:30.

Authorities are now searching for a suspect who is said to have injured two people at a nearby house.

WFIN Radio quoted Hancock County Sheriff Michael Heldman as saying one adult was taken by helicopter to a Lima hospital. A second teenage victim was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital.

As precaution, the nearby Arlington school building went on lockdown. The staff and students were never in danger.

The Riverdale School also went on lockdown for a brief period of time this morning as well.

Authorities are now searching for the suspect.

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Be On the Lookout alert.

Authorities are looking for Brandon Pinks, a white male described as 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 215 pounds and has brown hair, blue eyes and a beard.

Sheriff Keith Everhart confirmed to WKTN that Pinks is a suspect in the Arlington incident this morning.

He could be armed and dangerous.

Pinks was last observed parking a vehicle in the ATI Parking Lot in Ada at 11:00 this morning where he then entered a dark colored pick up truck with a dark cap. The pick up truck is described as two-tone with black (or dark) on top and silver (light color) on the bottom.

If Pinks is spotted, call 9-1-1 with his whereabouts.

Because of that alert, the Ada Schools are currently on lockdown until further notice.
