Sheriff’s Office Says Don’t Call 911 to Report Face Covering Violations

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office encourages residents to use masks to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and avert another stay-at-home order here in Ohio.
Governor Mike DeWine has issued a mandate last week requiring people in Ohio to wear face coverings in public
It is the responsibility of Kenton-Hardin Health Department to respond to those who believe that they or others are at risk; and to investigate those concerns and recommend the best action steps to address the health and safety of all.
If you have a concern regarding masks, contact the Kenton-Hardin Health Department at 419-673-6230.
The Sheriff’s Office said you should not call 9-1-1 or your local law enforcement agency.
All of those calls will be referred to the Health Department.
