Obituary for E. Marie Kraut Sampson

Marie (Krout) Sampson age 99, of Arlington, died Saturday November 9, 2019. She was born on January 24, 1920 to the late Warren R. and Emma (Wilch) Krout. She married Rodney B. Sampson on January 26, 1941 and he preceded her in death on April 27, 1990. She is survived by two sons and a daughter: John Brent (Ruby) Sampson of rural Findlay, Jan (Robert deceased) Meyers of Granger, Indiana, and James Bruce (Patricia) Sampson of rural Findlay, six grandchildren Bret Sampson, Blair (Ginger) Sampson, Rob Meyers, Will (Megan) Meyers, Molly Cooper and Isaac (Maureen) Sampson, three great grandchildren Justin Sampson, Renee Sampson and Bradyn Meyers. She was preceded in death by her brother Warren George Krout.
Marie attended the Folk school in Jackson Township and graduated from Mt. Blanchard High School in 1937. She attended Findlay College before marriage. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Blanchard United Methodist Church.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30pm on Wednesday November 13, 2019 at Riverview Cemetery in Mt. Blanchard with Rev. Hugh Bowland officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Mt.
