Obituary for Cora M. Emberling

Cora M. Emberling 91, of Kenton, passed away at 4:00am on Sunday November 3, 2019.  She was born on August 16, 1928 to the late Ray D. and Lina Belle (Henry) Mohn.  Cora married Leo J. Emberling and they divorced.  She is survived by five daughters; Penny (Rick) Smith of Kenton, Patricia (John-deceased) Ferrell of LaRue, Pam (Gene) Gillen of Kenton, Peggy (Daniel-deceased) McCarthy of Findlay and Phyllis (Greg) Critchfield of Kenton. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Lee Ann Emberling of Alabama, 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Cora was preceded in death by her two sons; Leo Emberling and Philip Emberling, 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Cora worked for the Johnson Candy Factory, North Electric, RBM, K-Mart and the Fillin’ Station.  She loved spending time with her family, playing games and her pets.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Manns officiating.  Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
