Kenton Woman Dies Following Thursday Afternoon Crash

A Kenton woman died following a traffic crash in Kenton Thursday afternoon.
According to information from Kenton Police Chief Dennis Musser, a car driven by 87 year old Kikuko T. Hollan was eastbound on Espy Street and travelled across Wayne where and struck a tree in the yard of a house at 501 South Wayne Street.
Hollan was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital where she later died.
The Sheriff’s Office Crash Team was assisted at the scene by BKP, Kenton Fire Department and Minich’s Towning.
The crash remains under investigation.
