Kenton Couple Cited for Endangering Children

A burglary investigation led to charges against the occupants of an apartment at Forest Court Apartments in Kenton.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched over the weekend to an apartment in Building F at the complex for a possible burglary.
While investigating, the officer found that four children were residing in the apartment with filthy living conditions.
Children’s Services was contacted and the parents, identified as 26 year old Kaylee Mercer and 24 year old Ronald L. Edwards, were both issued summons for endangering children.
