1444 More Cases of COVID-19 in Ohio Thursday Afternoon

There were 75,819 confirmed and 4367 probable for a total of 80,186 cases of COVID-19 in Ohio as of Thursday afternoon.

That is 1444 more cases in one day.

The total number of hospitalizations is 9968. 2403 of them in intensive care units.

3256 people have died in Ohio since the pandemic began.

There are 142 confirmed cases in Hardin County.

Around the region:

Marion County has 2807 cases, Allen County 501, Union County has 163, Hancock County 177, Auglaize County has 151 cases, Logan County 94 and Wyandot County has 84 cases.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced that several more counties have been upgraded to Red Level 3.

That includes Hardin, Allen, Marion and Wyandot Counties in our region.

Wyandot, Auglaize and Hancock Counties are at Orange Level 2.

Logan County remains at Yellow Level 1.
