Recent Shop with Cop Event a Success

The recently held 2022 Hardin County Sheriff’s Office annual “Shop with a Cop” was a big success.
27 children had the opportunity to go shopping with a law enforcement officer to purchase gifts for their families.
Once the gifts were purchased, they returned with their officer to the Sheriff’s Office to wrap their gifts, enjoy lunch and a visit from Santa Claus, who presented each child with a gift of their own.
Assisting with the event were Hardin County Sheriff’s Deputies, Hardin County Sheriff’s Volunteers in Police Service, the Kenton Police Department, Ada Police Department, the Ohio Highway Patrol, and the Multi County Correctional Center.
The Sheriff’s Office thanked all those individuals who made monetary donations, including those who directed memorial gifts to be given to the program.
The contributions and assistance of Kenton Walmart and Kenton Marathon were also recognized.
