ODOT District 1 Seeking Comments For Proposed Projects

LIMA, Ohio (Nov. 15, 2022) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 1, in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Executive Order 11988, is seeking public comments regarding the following proposed projects:

ALLEN COUNTY

State Route 117 small bridge and culvert replacement (PID: 107835) – ODOT is proposing to replace two culverts under State Route 117 near the eastern edge of the village of Spencerville. One structure is located just east of the Wisher Drive intersection on the east side of town. The other structure is located approximately two miles east of town at the Monfort Road intersection.

Construction activities will result in temporary roadway closures. Vehicular through traffic will be detoured temporarily. Access for local traffic to all properties will be maintained throughout construction.

HARDIN COUNTY

State Route 81 bridge replacement (PID: 105086) – ODOT is proposing to replace the bridge that carries State Route 81 over Hog Creek approximately three miles east of the village of Ada. The bridge is situated between County Road 75 and Township Road 85.

Construction activities will result in temporary roadway closures. Vehicular through traffic will be detoured temporarily. Access for local traffic to all properties will be maintained throughout construction.

WYANDOT COUNTY

State Route 67 bridge replacement (PID: 109100) – ODOT is proposing to replace the existing structure that carries State Route 67 over small tributary stream of Taylor Run. The bridge is located 1.8 miles south of the intersection of State Route 67 and State Route 103 and directly northeast of the Belle Vernon community.

Construction activities will result in temporary roadway closures. Vehicular through traffic will be detoured temporarily. Access for local traffic to all properties will be maintained throughout construction.

State Route 294 resurfacing (PID: 113018) – ODOT is proposing to resurface approximately nine miles of State Route 294 from the State Route 37 intersection eastward to the village of Harpster.

Construction activities will result in temporary roadway closure of the entire project area. Vehicular through traffic will be detoured temporarily. Access for local traffic to all properties will be maintained throughout construction.
