Obituary for Stanton C. “Buzz” Swihart Jr.

Stanton C. “Buzz” Swihart Jr. age 83 of Upper Sandusky, died at his residence on Dec. 30, 2022. He was born May 31, 1939 in Little Sandusky to the late Stanton and Ida (Garver) Swihart Sr.
He married Deanna Hannibal on June 15, 1968, and she survives him. Also surviving is a son Stanton Swihart III, Upper Sandusky, granddaughters Allison Noel Predmore and Madelyn Leigh Predmore, both of Columbus. He is preceded in death by a daughter Jennifer Predmore, sisters Alice McDaniel and Betty Welch.
Mr. Swihart was a US Navy veteran. He had worked at Marion Power & Shovel for over 30 years, then worked in bookkeeping at Angeline Industries for 15 years. He enjoyed playing softball, tennis, frisbee golf, reading, gospel music, taking trips to Lake Erie and being around the water. Mr. Swihart was an avid OSU Buckeyes, and Cleveland Indians and Browns fan.
Private services will be held at Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor James Stauffer officiating.
