of Bellefontaine 

Funeral services for Nancy Ann Lane will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory. Her son-in-law, Father Ted Pisarchuk will officiate. Burial will follow at Hale Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 1 hour prior to services. 

Nancy died on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. She was born on December 16, 1939 in Kenton to the late Bernard Woodrow and Grace Marie (Ansley) Black.

Surviving are her children; Steven (Craig Kosnich) Gossard, LeeAnn (Ted) Pisarchuk, David (Barb) Lane, Gregory (Anne Anderson) Gossard, her sisters; Barbara (Ron) Mouser, Patricia (Charlie) Wilson, grandchildren; Laura (Corey) Sharits, Katie Gossard, Phillip Gossard, Christopher Pisarchuk, Steven (Hayley) Pisarchuk, Karly Lane, Spencer Lane, great-grandchildren; Dakota James Sharits, Alexa Lee Sharits, Jaxon Devin Sharits, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers; Eugene “Gene” Black and Frank Joseph “Joe” Black.

Nancy was a member of the Ridgeway United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir. Nancy loved to sing and dance. She was on a dance team that performed at the Ohio State Fair and also performed in a show called “Curtain Going Up”. She was also crowned as a Fall Festival Queen. Nancy was involved in other various community organizations including the West Mansfield Conservation Club and volunteered for the American Legion.

In her free time Nancy enjoyed sports, fishing and camping with her family.

Memorial donations in Nancy’s honor may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
