Funeral services for Karen E. (Fish) Harper will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor John Rozewicz officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Belle Center Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Karen passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital E.R. She was born on January 17, 1952 in Kenton to the late Clarence and Twila (McKinley) Fish. She married Clarence Harper Jr in December of 1980 and they later divorced.

Surviving are her siblings; Kenneth Fish of Dunkirk, Danny (Joyce) Fish of Rushsylvania, Hope Myers of Kenton, Jack Fish of Virginia, Betty Fish of Kenton, Steve (Donna) Fish of Bellefontaine, Judy (William) Brown of East Liberty, Jeffrey (Tina) Fish of West Liberty, Sharon (Wayne) Miller of Kenton, Laura Fish of Kenton, and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Michael Fish, William Fish, Robert Fish, 2 sister-in-laws, both named Christine Fish and brother-in-law, Terry Myers.

Karen was a 1970 graduate of Ridgemont High School. She worked as a nurse’s aide for San Antonio Hospital in Kenton and then went on to work for the Springfield Newspaper.

Karen loved her cats and enjoyed going for walks and collecting recipes. 

Memorial donations in Karen’s name may be made to the Hardin Hill Activities Fund.
