Obituary for Frances R. Conn

Frances R. Conn age 81 of Upper Sandusky died Fri. Feb. 3, 2023 in her home. She was born Oct. 2, 1941 in Upper Sandusky to the late Claude E. and Edna (Taylor) Taylor Sr. Her biological mother died and she was raised by her step mother Neva (Hare) Taylor.

Frances married Herbert Conn Sr. on Jan. 26, 1960, and he passed Oct. 4, 2019. She is survived by a son Herbert (Dee) Conn Jr., Upper Sandusky, granddaughters Heather (Brian) Frey Smith, Marion, Shae (Judd) Culver, Upper Sandusky, Samantha (Michael Hakes) Newman, Upper Sandusky, great grandchildren Blake, Ava, Ellie, Sterling, Zakk, Maggie, Scarlett, Grey, sisters Bonnie Ward, Sandusky, Thelma Fox, Upper Sandusky, brothers Larry (Pat) Taylor, Carey, Donald (Regina) Taylor, Danny (Janet) Clark, Oceola, and Bob (Marg) Smith, Upper Sandusky. She was God Mother to Theresa Taylor Miller. She was preceded in death by sisters Virginia Ekleberry, Rose Shook, Gladys Hendricks, Annie Young, infant sister Margaret Taylor, brothers Claude Taylor Jr., David Taylor, Bob Taylor, Jim Taylor, Gene Taylor and infant brother Richard Taylor.

Mrs. Conn worked at A. O. Smith for 36 years. She was a life member of the Sandusky Eagles club, and member of the Upper Sandusky Moose and Amvets clubs. She was named Mother of The Year by the Daily Chief Union. Frances enjoyed doing things for others, working outside, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30AM Tue. Feb. 7, 2023 at Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Sturgeon officiating. Interment will follow in Old Mission Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-6PM Mon. Feb. 6, 2023 at Bringman Clark Funeral Home.
