Obituary for Arlene L. Miller

Arlene L. Miller, age 92 of Upper Sandusky died on Feb. 19, 2022 at Westbrook Assisted Living and Memory Care. She was born Nov. 9, 1929 in Upper Sandusky to the late Frank J. and Anna M. (Stief) Brooks. She married Kenneth P. Miller Oct. 30, 1955, he preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 2012. Surviving are her 3 daughters Cynthia Dawson, Monroe, Lynne (James) Mosman, Kennesaw, GA, Jan Miller, Upper Sandusky, 4 grandchildren Brittaney (John Stark) Mossman Charleston, SC, Elissa (Austin) Gillian, Charleston, SC, Caitlin (Juho) Hynynen Dawson, Helsinki, Finland, Christian (Claire) Dawson, Indianapolis, IN, sisters-in-law, Charlotte Leeth, Marseilles, Alice Miller, TX, and brother-in-law Pearl “JR,” Derringer, AZ.
She is preceded in death by a brother Richard Brooks and a sister Cathrine Bassler.

She graduated from Upper Sandusky High School as Salutatorian of her class. Mrs. Miller was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was a legal secretary for Attorney John Hunter, and had worked at the former Worthington Industries/U Brand, and was a homemaker. She was member of the former USANDO Literary Club. Arlene enjoyed working out & socializing at CURVES Fitness Center, cooking and baking, crocheting, gardening, tending to her plants and surfing the web on her I-Pad.

Funeral Services will be held Fri. Feb. 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Halter officiating. Visitation is from 10:00–11:00 a.m. before time of services. Interment is in Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Angeline School & Industries, Kindred Hospice in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E.
