An arrest has been made in connection to a fire at Walmart Monday evening.

Kenton Police Chief Dennis Musser said that 26 year old Caleb Poole was taken into custody in Columbus Tuesday afternoon.

His last known address was Frederickstown.

The chief said he was transferred to the custody of the FBI and is facing charges of arson and perhaps terrorism.

Poole allegedly was captured on the store’s security camera placing items in a cart then setting them on fire.

The fire was contained to an area near women’s clothing by the store’s sprinkler system.

The store was forced to temporarily closed due to extensive smoke and water damage.

Pharmacy customers were notified that they can pick up prescriptions at the emergency exit between the Home & Pharmacy and Lawn & Garden entrances.

The store is notifying customers about the status of the store on the Kenton Walmart Facebook page.
