Kenton Volleyball Season Ends with Loss Against TCC.

Written by on October 22, 2020

The Kenton Lady Wildcats season came to an end with a loss to the Lady Fighting Irish in straight sets (11-25, 17-25 and 12-25) Wednesday.

Kenton, which advanced to the sectional finals after beating Rossford, just could not keep up the necessary pressure to defeat Toledo Central Catholic.

The Lady Cats put up a strong team effort but unfortunately came up short in the end.

However, the Lady Cats made great strides this season finishing with a record of (8-14), hosting and winning a playoff game, and having two players, Lindsey Smith (3rd team) and Jenna Manns (honorable mention), earn WBL honors.

Coach Erick Grasley sent a special thanks to the team, “To all of the ladies for their hard work this season, especially the 10 seniors who put many years of effort and heart into helping this program grow. You ladies will be missed but we will not forget how you helped raise the bar for this program and will do our best to keep building each year.”
