Friday Crash in Marion County Claims the Life of LaRue Woman

A LaRue woman was killed in a crash that occurred this past Friday evening in Marion County.
According to a release from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 39 year old Amber Pitts lost control of her car while traveling south on State Route 37.
The car went off the east side of the road and struck a culvert.
Pitts was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marion County Coroner.
Drugs are suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Scioto Valley Fire and EMS, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and B&B Towing.
This crash remains under investigation.
