Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office Handling Duties of Dog Warden

Written by on July 15, 2020

The Wyandot County Sheriff’s office is now handling the duties of the Dog Warden.

Since they will be enforcing the laws of dog ownership, they remind Wyandot County residents that if you have a dog, you need to have it licensed.

Since the Wyandot County Auditor’s office is still not allowing anyone in their office to purchase dog tags due to Covid-19, you need to go online to purchase your dog license.

The link is https://www.doglicenses.us/OH/Wyandot/

Deputies will be checking to make sure dogs are properly licensed if they get called out for any dog related complaints.

Since Wyandot County is not currently operating a Dog Pound, do not drop off any dogs at that location.

Instead, take them to the Wyandot County Humane Society.
