Woman Charged with OVI Following Thursday Afternoon Crash

A Bellefontaine woman was cited for an accident in an unusual way Thursday night.

 

According to the Kenton Police Department, officers were called to McDonald’s on a report that a female was there who had been involved in an accident earlier in the day.

 

Officers discovered through the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office that the woman, identified as Leann Mann, age 44, was involved in a crash Thursday afternoon on State Route 53 near Forest, and she was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence.

 

She was being treated at Hardin Memorial Hospital when she walked out.

 

BKP was called to McDonald’s, but Mann refused further treatment.

 

A deputy from the Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene and issued a citation to her for the accident.

 

Mann was then released to a sober driver.
