Wildcats Overwhelm Celina 51-28

The Kenton Wildcats rolled up 593 yards of offense as they defeated Celina 51-28 in Western Buckeye League football play Friday at Robinson Field.

Kenton improves to 2-1 while Celina falls to 1-2.

Blaine Huston threw for 483 yards and 7 touchdowns for Kenton. Jayden Cornell caught 10 passes for 269 yards and 4 touchdowns while Jacob Eversole had 11 catches for 129 yards and 2 scores and Zac Swaney finished with 6 receptions for 88 yards with 1 TD.

Landen West also returned a kickoff for a touchdown for the Wildcats.

Huston and Brandon Bowling were named the Ace Hardware Players of the Game.

The Wildcats visit Defiance next week.
