Written by on October 11, 2019

The West Ohio Food Bank (WOFB) and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Ohio (Anthem) will announce Anthem’s $30,000 support that will help the food bank better assist residents in their 11-county area facing food insecurity.

With the donation, the food bank was able to purchase a cargo van, which replaces a 20-year-old delivery vehicle.

The new van will make its debut at a news conference scheduled for Tuesday Oct 15 at 9:00am.

The food bank has more than 100 food pantries throughout the 11 counties it serves, and the new cargo van will be used to distribute food and grocery items to the pantries from its main warehouse.
