A Lima man is facing drug charges following an incident in Kenton Sunday afternoon.

 

According to the Kenton Police Department report, an officer stopped a suspicious male in the 900 block of South Main Street.

 

He was found to be in possession of suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia.

 

Police seized suspected heroin, numerous drug paraphernalia items and a counterfeit $20 bill.

 

The 42 year old suspect is facing charges of possession of drugs and possessing drug abuse instruments.

 

The incident remains under investigation.

A teenager was cited after an incident reported to Kenton Police over the weekend.

 

According to the report, officers were informed that juveniles were tearing apart fencing in the area around the Jerry Cross Park.

 

A 13 year old Kenton boy was charged with criminal mischief.

A resident reported being in possession of counterfeit money over the weekend.

 

According to the report, officers were flagged down at the intersection of Main and Franklin Streets in reference to a counterfeit $100 bill.

 

The incident remains under investigation.
